Shri Narendra L. Mehta started his political career in the
year 1997 by contesting the Municipal corporator election.
His hard work paid off in the year 2002 where in he won
the municipal corporator election with huge margin .The
most adorable part of his win was that he was the only independent
candidate in the entire corporation who won independently.
During his tenure of 13 years his popularity increased day
by day as he initiated various project for the public which
was never done before in the history(20 years) of the corporation.
